Is this an infection?

The yeast I used was wyeast American ale 2 and I have heard that this yeast can sit on top of my beer throughout fermentation. Any advice would be great. Cheers

Not fuzzy, no oil slick, and irregular shape. Your beer has contracted yeast rafts. Fairly benign.

So it's still ok mate? Can I still bottle it after fermentation stops? It won't change the taste of my beer will it?

yes you are good to go. The yeast will drop out of solution in a week or so. Let it ride to day 18, check the gravity, then again on day 21. If the gravity is the same, then bottle.
