I know there was a thread on this awhile back, but I wonder if since then anyone has bought this SS kettle:

http://bayouclassicdepot.com/1144_stainless_steel_stock_pot.htm

It looks like a nice one and the price is right. Best think for me that I can see is it has a small diameter. I think it would fit in my Walmart Backyard Classic burner stand which is square. Most larger kettles have bigger diameters and would have to sit on top of the stand, about an inch or two higher than the aluminum pot that comes with the set.

I have this pot and I use it for full boils for 5 gal AG batches... I made a SS 'manifold' with some weldless fixtures and it works great...

The only problem is the price... I picked it up with a burner and a bunch of other turkey type stuff for around $98 at Costco, but I think I've seen other people say they've seen the same thing at Costco with the burner for around $70-80 (or cheaper, sorry don't remember).....

I have this pot and use it for 5 gal full boils. Three brews on it and all good so far. I found it at Costco with the full turkey fryer kit and it had just been reduced to $60! At that price it made the decision much easier.

Academy Sporting good store has an 80 quart SS pot for $155.00. IMHO opion if your going to spend a hundy for that pot might as well get the BIG one for a little bit more.
