Is it ready? Kegging Q?

I primed 3 kegs 7 days ago. I want to take one with me to a party tonight. How do I know if it's done?
and if it isn't done, can I just shake it up once it's cool?

I've always carbed my beer artificially.

I would be willing to wager money that the beer isn't carbed up. Usually, it would take a couple of weeks at room temperature.
