I would like to minimize the amount sugar I injest.

Is it possible totrack sugar in kombucha with a hydrometer?

Not sure if some of the byproducts of fermentation would throw off gravity readings.

You know how much sugar you added. If you measure the gravity at the beginning, then again when you stop, then you should be able to figure out how much sugar was converted to other stuff...

That's what I'm hoping. As long as the fermentation doesn't create other byproducts that have a similar density to sugar.

Yeah I'm not interested in alcohol content. Just sugar. I had checked SG after 4 days and it was unchanged. But clearly.its fermenting as there is a pellicle.
