Hi all,

We are two brothers who are looking to make some ridiculous brews. Just started an IPA which may be a little darker than expected but looking to be nice and hoppy. Started last year with the Mr.Beer stuff but began recently with some real brewing equipment to make some REAL beers! Just finished off an Amber Ale with a nice finish of U.S. Golding hops and a Honey/Brown Sugar mix to condition it. Added a subtle flavor but a well balanced beer all around. Didn't get any readings but after drinking 2 or 3 I felt it may have been around a 6-6.5% brew.

Quick blurb about our name, we are of Irish and Italian decent, so we figured why not name our brewery Irlandese which is the Italian word for Irish. Thought it was creative enough and sounds like it could be a real brewery name. Located in the Southern Tier of NY so if anyone has info on upcoming brew fests or local groups please let us know!

Happy Brewing and more importantly DRINKING of the brew to all!

welcome! This is a great place to find plenty of ridiculous brewing tips :) ...and some helpful tips, too. Experimentation is pretty fashionable around here. You're sure to get lots of input.
