I'm currently trying a 15-minute addition of Boadicea; it's done, but I haven't put it on tap yet. Really, get a good English pale malt, make it ~95% of your grist, and you'll be in good shape.

Maris Otter is an absolute requirement for me. I love that malt. Also, I used warrior to bitter. Very unorthodox but I had it on had and used it.
