I'm looking to brew a nice malty Irish red. Any one have a good recipe? My wife and I like malt forward beers. Thanks in advance for all replies

The grist that works well for me is
96% English pale (e.g., Maris Otter)
2% Simpsons DRC
2% chocolate rye

and then
bitter with anything neutral (I use Magnum) at 60 minutes to ~20 IBUs
Lallemand London, fermented at 70 F.

I'm currently trying a 15-minute addition of Boadicea; it's done, but I haven't put it on tap yet.

Really, get a good English pale malt, make it ~95% of your grist, and you'll be in good shape.

I’ve brewed this one several times. I really like it.

Here’s the last one a brewed. I thought it was very good. Maris Otter is an absolute requirement for me. I love that malt.

Also, I used warrior to bitter. Very unorthodox but I had it on had and used it.

Jamil has some good recipes on BYO. I used his red recipyabd it was excellent.

Brew dogs 5am saint is also a great one
