I am going to make another Irish Red this weekend, and would like some comments/suggestions :)

Extract w/ Specialty Grains

Batch Size: 5 gallons
Boil Size: 3 gallons

7.2 lbs Pale LME
8 oz Crystal 120
8 oz Crystal 80
4 oz Carapils
2 oz Roasted Barley

Steep at 160 degrees for 30min.

1 oz Kent Goldings- 60min

1 oz Kent Goldins- 20min

Add all the LME with 15min left in the boil

Yeast: WLP004 with a 1000mL starter

Primary at 65 degrees for 3 weeks

I think you have a perfect recipe, pretty close to my own actually. I really like WLP002 for my Irish Red, but I'm sure 4 will be fine.
