I would drop the crystal to 1 lb or less and the honey malt to 1/4 lb

Like he said you have a little bit too much crystal and i would reduce honey malt too.

At 114 IBUS you're closer to a DIPA but it looks yummy to me!

Cheers

Not sure what you are going for in terms of a flavor profile, but I'd make several adjustments.

#1 - way too much crystal and honey. I'd keep both combined to 1lb or under.

#2 - you've got magnum as a flavoring hop - haven't tried it personally that way, but it's generally used only as a bittering hop and isn't known for its great flavor and aroma.

#3 -those 45 and 30 minute additions aren't doing much for you besides upping the IBU. You'll probably be happier just getting your bittering from a 60 minute charge and then loading up flavor hops in the 15-0 minute range.

#4 - no dry hops? This is an IPA man!

You don't mention it, but you'll want to do a starter or buy more than 1 vial of yeast for this brew.

thanks for the replies! dry hop 1oz or more? i will lower the crystal and honey

For sure putting down the crystal malt to maximum 1lb. Honey malt seems fair to me as is.

+1 on suppressing hop addition at 45 and 30 min.
+1 on dry hopping. Most important part hehe! Try taking down a bit the hops during boil and adding more in secondary.

I'd go 2-3 oz on the dryhop, simcoe and citra makes a nice combo. Agree with all the other posts on the boil hops and crystal.

this is what i came up with

I would still forget about the hop addition @ 30 min. Maybe adding 0.5oz more at the 60 min. Rest looks great!
