5 Gallon Batch.
60 minute boil
Ingredients:
6lbs LME
1 1/4 lb dme
1oz Columbus start
1oz cascade @ 15minutes left
and centennial 5 min before finish

Tasted sample after 7 days (not really any bubbling coming from blowoff anymore, maybe once every 10 minutes). Taste is OK, but it doesn't really taste hoppy at all.
Fermentation started vigorously around 18 hours. Bubbled great from blowoff for about 5 days, then had the usual slow down.
Pitched at 68 degrees using US-05
Fermentation temps vaired between 65 and 69.8
Fermented in SS Brewtech Brewbucked Brewmaster edition.

Dry hop will be Amarillo and cascade. Was thinking an ounce of each (pellets in hop bag)
will that give the hoppiness and aroma i am looking for?

Doesn't look like much hops for an IPA, but fortunately you can make up for it with the dry hop. My guess is that a two ounce DH might come up a little short. You might want to double that, as it certainly can't hurt. Better to have too much than too little. Are you bottling or kegging? If kegging you can do the 2 oz first and add more if needed.

the IPA style started from dry hopping regular pale ales

dry hp that thing and let it set a while

Agree not a lot of hops for an IPA. Also are you doing a full volume boil? Doing a partial boil hurts hop utilization.

In hindsight you probably should have done 2-3 ounces of hops at flameout. But what you can still do is double the amount of dry hops. Put in 4 oz. 2oz of each. Should boost the hoppiness

Luckily I have a bunch of extra ounces of my intended dry hop.
Is 7 days enough time to dry hop or should i go more?

7 days is fine. If you wanted to add a little more depth of flavor you could always double dry hop. Add the first 2 oz at 7 days and second 2 at 3-4 days

Need. More. Hops. I would add a solid 8 oz or so dry hop! My latest which is in the fermenter now will have 1 full lb of hops from start to finish.

I agree you were very low on hops id throw 6 oz in t he dh should help. Next time add 4 more oz at least to the late boil and whrlpool
