I purchased some Iodophor to use for sanitizing my equipment before my next brew. How much per gallon of water should I use?

1/10th of an ounce (1/2 teaspoon) of Iodophor per gallon of water will create a 12.5 ppm solution. At that strength, is an effective no-rinse sanitizer with a contact time of 60 seconds. If you are making up a five gallon batch, that would be 1/2 ounce, which is two cap fulls.
