Interesting Fermentor find (and cheap)

This popped up on my google search for fermentors- up to 85 gallon tanks for under $170. Sure they are not fancy stainless but might be a good way to scale up brewing without breaking the bank. The 15 gallon even mentions beer brewing as a use.

Yeah, there are several threads on here about these tanks... Many with photos...

Seem to be generally OK, if I recall correctly.... search for inductor tank, I think.

Thanks. Not sure if I would get one for fermenting but might me grain storage. Some kind of valve on bottom, measure out what is needed, old grains work there way to the bottom and new on the top.

I've heard that grain is roughly 5lbs/gallon so you'd only need 10g for 50lb sack...

Bought 3 10 gallon and made my own stand. Had them for 5 years or so. They work great!

I keep looking at these to save space, I could get 4 in my fermenting fridge. Add an airlock next to the neck and cap on the shoulder and it comes in at 14"dx9"wx15" tall. http://www.plastic-mart.com/product/2462/7-gallon-rectangle-flat-bottom-tank-sp0007-rt
