inline air filter from NB

i recently purchased a inline air filter and it says us a 1/4" id tubing. I happen to have 1/4" air line around and it doesnt fit. So i went and bought 1/4" ID tubing still doesnt fit. any ideas? it also does not fit the aeration stone i got with it.

take them both into your LHBS and see if they have something that will work. I am thinking my system use 1/4 OD tubing. It's small stuff.
