I'm planing on using a inline aeration setup that i already made. It consist of a pyrex tube ( dunlop 203 slide) between two stainless flange. On one side is a thermometer and a 6 mm stainless capilary tube with the air stone on the other side. I will be using pure oxygen. From what i read. You would need only to oxygenate 1 or 2 gallon depending of the oxygen flow to get the proper ppm of a 5 gal batch. My question is the following: if i stop blowing oxygen to the stone will wort come back inside my tubing? Should i use a check valve?
