Ingredient Warning: MUSHROOMS (dog fights for it's life)

I was recently planning a recipe that i considered adding local mushrooms to, looking to add some "earthiness" to an ale. While it is totally safe if you know what our doing, there can be obvious consequences if you take chances. It was a total coincidence and shock when I got a call form my brother, who's brand new puppy ate a mushroom right in the back yard and was currently fighting for her life in the ER. Please be aware of the dangers of mushrooms as an ingredient....do your research!

I'm sorry about your brother's dog, I hope Sandy ends up well. I had to put down one of my great danes last december. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life.

Keep dogs away from grapes and chocolate too.
