So while I don't distill myself, I do regularly infuse store bought/provided alcohols into flavoured spirits and liqueur/cordials. And seeing as how infusing can make distilled drinks taste amazing I was wondering what sorts of recipes people had to share?

Rasberry vanilla:
Base alcohol: 80-100 proof Vodka or grain
Infusion time:1-3 months

Ingredients:
750ml vodka or grain liquer
3 cups rasberry frozen
1 vanilla bean
Sugar (variable)

1) Take frozen berries (or fresh berries frozen at home) and put into 1L mason jar along with a vanilla bean split lengthways and cut in half.

2) shake jar 2-3 times daily for 4 days , then once every 2-3 days for remainder of the time.

3)after desired flavour is reached strain through cheesecloth and, if needed, a coffee filter.

4) return berries to jar and dust with sugar. Let sit until juices come out of berries, then strain and add to liqueur. Repeat step again for sweeter version.
