Hello all, only on my second beer here so I'm still not fully acclimated to what is normal what isn't normal. Didn't see this in the 1st batch I made so figured I'd ask around. It's a SMASH IPA with Citra hops and Amber DME if that info helps at all. This was brewed on 3/15/17 so it's on about day 5 of fermentation. Fermenting @ ~66F using Safale S-04. OG was ~1.061 and hydro reading right now is ~1.020.

1st image is 24hours into fermentation.
The others are what it looks like now. Hydro test does not smell very hoppy at all ( though I may have just underused on aroma hops and can dry hop to improve that). It actually smells kind of sweet. pH strips have it around a 4.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Difficult to tell from third photo.

Is it yeast supported by bubbles or a thin waxy like film? Could be lacto infection if the latter.

I'd let it finish and then do a sniff and taste test if your in doubt.

There's loads available on the web about diagnosis via taste and smell if it's picked up a wild yeast.

Dry hot yes, but dry hopping wont help an infection.
