My brew has been in my secondary for about 3 months. I'm not sure when it happened, but enough of the water in my fermentation lock evaporated so there wasn't a barrier to my beer. I noticed after I needed to move it. I then looked at my fermentation lock and noticed a white slimy substance. Definitely looked like something was growing in it. I then noticed there seemed to be something in my brew as well (no color, but it changed the surface tension in the middle of the beer - must have been a semi-solid gel floating at the top). Before thinking about pitching it, I sterilized the fermentation lock and refilled it. It now has restored the pressure to the lock and I noticed a bubble come up. What do you think? Should I bottle it?

Yes but taste it,and be carefull carbing it and leaving it bottle condtion for a length of time.I would check on them weekly after carbonation and maybe stick them all in the fridge after carbonation especially if they start overcarbing.

You might check your gravity to see if it has changed since your last sample, smell and taste. If gravity hasn't changed and everything seems good then I would go ahead and bottle.

I smelt it when I cleaned the lock and it smelt fine for the most part. Maybe a little more bitter than I expected, but fine.
