I'll try again in this category because I didn't get much response before. If you own a guinness kit can you tell me where you got it and how you like it?

This is the one I am considering. I found a nitrogen kit for $224 from Keg Cowboy which is the lowest I have been able to find - My first question is of course is does anyone know of anything any cheaper? No companies appear to sell the tank included althoug they are in the pictures.

My second question is can anyone that actually has one of these systems tell me some of the dos and don'ts with these kits? There is a 33 CF nitrogen tank that can be added for $95 but this seems like it is way bigger than what I would need. Any advice or assurance on this product would be appreciated.

Will you be using a commercial (Sanke) keg or a Corny soda keg?

Have you tried kegconnection, looks like their kits are under $200. Also check out Draught Technologies, they have a stout faucet for $80 and regulator for $45.

I would recommend before buying a tank, talk to your local Welding Supplier to find out what tanks they will refill or exchange. You would hate buying a tank online and then finding out that no one local will fill it for you. You will need a "Beer Gas" (75% Nitrogen and 25% CO2) tank. I have heard that some Welding Suppliers will fill a Nitrogen bottle with the correct mix, but not mine.

I got my "Beer Gas" tank in a round-about way. When I talked with my local Welding Supplier, I am sure they told me to buy a Nitrogen tank. So I posted a want-ad on Craigs list and found one for $40. I took my new found Nitrogen tank back to the Welding Supplier to get it filled and they said I needed a "Beer Gas" tank! I think they felt sorry for me because they went ahead and swapped it out for the correct "Beer Gas" tank.

I haven't used my Stout Faucet setup yet, but my Dry Stout is in the fermenter...

I actually need the U Sanke which would push the KegConnection Kit to a higher price than this one. The stout faucets and regulators looks the same and are less expensive at Keg Cowboy ...... Thanks for trying though.
