indoor potted pots for decoration?

hi,

I'm trying to enliven my apartment with some plants, and I thought that I might just plant some hops in a pot and just set them in a sunny spot in my apartment for the fueng-shway.

is this in any way a good idea? I know hop plants can get huge. Can I tame them well enough to grow inside?

Maybe for awhile, but eventually that thing is gonna want to head outside. I got 15' out of some tiny little rhizo's I planted this spring. They are voracious growers, you can see their daily growth in June.

I might try some other plants first. But hey, it's only like $4 to try it out. You could always give it away later on.
