In the market for a new boil kettle?

Just thought I'd pass along what I thought is a pretty good deal.
I've wanted a 40qt boil kettle ever since the first boil in my 30qt. It a constant stir and adjust temperature when I get to a full rolling boil.
Looking for parts to build an electric kettle, I came across this.

$54.00 with free shipping to Alaska is good deal for me. I've found pots for less, but shipping is always my kicker. Ebay sellers want to charge me $50-$80 in shipping or they don't ship to AK at all. Amazon and their free shipping deals are a life line here sometimes.
I also got a 30" stainless steel mixing paddle for $15.70 with free shipping.

man you might check with a local stainless suppler and the see if anyone in the area can roll it to the size you want and plasma cut a bottom to fit then just weld it up

Looks like a nice pot.
I used an Al pot for years.

Make sure that your electric heating element will fit the pot. Some Al pots are thicker, and it can be impossible to get the inside nut to catch any threads.

(Says the man with a 60 Qt Al pot with an extra hole in it, who now owns a stainless pot for an electric BK.)

Probably be cheaper to learn to weld myself.
I have to deal with many of the local merchants daily. I'm getting kinda tired of this end of the road attitude that many of them have. Had one tell me a few weeks ago, "Well if you don't get from me, you're not going to get it."
I told him to give me 5 mins on the internet and I could tell him exactly where I could get it, how much they have, their price and when I can expect it to be delivered to me.
Maybe its time to move. I'm a darn good drinking water plant operator if anyone knows a utility in need.
