Was discussion the benefits of introducing O2 to the worth during fermentation last night with a fellow HBer. Discussions lingered around the possiblities of introduced contaminants, etc. and times it did occur.
We got pondering the possibilities of a in line air stone and how one would configure the set up? Use a Tee so that you could have the air stone "pushed" through one leg of the tee and then soldered or closed up sommehow, and have the flowing wort flow over it into the fermentor. We bees talking a 3/4 in tee to accomodate the air stone.
Has anyone done this before and what were the results if you dont mind sharing?
