I know I'm not the only one that has done this in the past, but I feel like a complete idiot considering this is my 19th batch of beer to bottle. What I've done is I have left out all of my priming sugar in the priming bucket and already bottled my beer.

What I need help with is trying to figure out a way to properly and evenly distribute my priming solution and each bottle. Does anyone know of a calculator to figure that out? Or a formula or something? I'm not sure exactly how much solution I have meaning the liquid, But I do know how much sugar and water I started with. If I need to transfer that over into a two or 4 cup container in order to get a more accurate measurement, really a rough measurement then I can do that. Since it's already bottled an I'm not going to rush it at this very moment so I have a little while to do it, but I'm not able to get any more priming sugar today considering I'm about to start brewing another batch of beer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I would forget about the priming solution and try to get some carbonating tabs from amazon or your lhbs. The beer should be fine in the bottles for the few days it would take to get them and they would make it much simpler to carbonate at this point without much risk of bombs.

I'd think it would be tough doing it that way due to the space the priming solution takes up. Either go with the above suggestion of carb drops, or just open each bottle and, using a small funnel, pour 1/2 to 3/4 tsp of sugar into each bottle (assuming 12oz bottles).

I ended up heating up my priming solution and adding 1 tsp per bottle until it was gone. It ended up balancing out just right. I had a little left but not enough to make a big difference in co2 volume. I'm sure it won't be perfect but at least it's close.
