And I'm freaking crying like a baby at 2:30 in the afternoon. Manly man tears mind you.

My dog died about a year and a half ago. She was about 14 yrs old. I've heard about the effects that movie has and I'm sure I'm not ready to watch it yet - your post confirms that yet again.

I've been wanting to watch Marley and Me for a while, but after what my wife said about it, I'm picking a time when I can close the blinds and lock the doors and watch it alone with the Kleenex nearby (Much like I do when I watch the Skinimax channels!)

After the movie ended, I changed channels and caught the scene where Jeff Bridges puts his yellow lab down in A Dog Year. So, yeah...

Read the book at work a couple years ago. Doing construction oversight. I was bawling my head off & praying that the construction manager wouldn't come over to my truck....

I tried to watch it but couldn't get through it. I'm a real sap when it comes to that kinda stuff. Plus it hadn't been too long since I had to put one of my dogs down.

I don't watch movies, but I did read the book "Marley and Me". The book was great and I would recommend it for anybody who has ever had a pet.

I also had read the book before watching the movie, so I knew what was coming the whole time.

Watched it while my yellow lab was going through chemo for cancer. I couldn't stop myself. They just came outta my eyes. I couldn't even act tough. Damn movie took a part of me that day...

its not unmanly to cry if your drinking. (atleast i hope its not) tears in my beers:tank:
