Making a IIPA, with the idea us using up the last of my 2013 hops. Which of these would NOT play well together:

Colombus
Citra
Cascade
Amarillo
Northern Brewer
Sterling
Cascade
EKG
Hallertauer Mittelfrueh
Horizon

I'm thinking that most should be fine together EXCEPT Hallertauer, EKG and Sterling. But I'd love your opinions!

I've never met hops that don't play well. A couple times a year I make a 'hodge-podge ale' that consists of whatever leftovers I have in the fridge. When it comes to the hops I don't pay attention to the variety, but instead if it's either a bittering or an aroma hop.

Just my 0.02

Oh, I think I had that one! "Hop Hash" - not one of my favorites!

I'll probably make one one day...

I made a beer with Chinook and a couple of other varieties once. It tasted sort of weird. I don't see that on your list though.

I would leave the European hops out and stick with the US varieties so the 'C' hops and Amarillo. That being said any variety can pretty much be used for bittering, it's the flavor and aroma ones you want to be careful with.
