Ideally, how long should it take to drain a MLT?

Hi all,

I'm fairly new to AG brewing, and I had a question about my lautering process. I use a a 5 gallon igloo cylindrical type cooler with a steel braid.

Ideally, how long should it be taking me to collect 5 gallons of wort? I usually batch sparge with 3 gallons, and it takes about 30 minutes total. This seems a tad long to me, and I worry that it might cause my OG to be a bit higher than my target.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

With a batch sparge? There's not really any reason to prolong the collection that I know of. With a fly sparge you would be taking awhile, but you can just let a batch sparge flow when collecting.
