I've been thinking about trying to add icy squares to a stout. Just wondering peoples thoughts and how they would do. Thanks in advance for any help

I had to look these up to see what they are because I honestly don't think I've ever had them. It sounds like the have a ton of coconut oil in them which is why they're so soft and creamy. Besides killing head, all that oil could go rancid which would not make for a very pleasant beer. I'd recommend taking a different approach and look for things like cocoa powder, nibs, vanilla, etc that will give you similar character (basically the ingredients for icy squares) minus all the coconut oil.
