I will be making a I2PA in the next couple of days and i have a question. Estimated OG being 1.095ish. i Have a 2 fresh packages of wyeasts 1764 pacman, and i was wondering if i should make a 1L starter with 2 packs then decant, and step it up with another 1L of wort. Its a couple months old thats why i want to use it up... any help with this would be greatly appriciated!:mug:
 
Depending on how much time you have; I would start at 500mL, ferment out, step up to 1.5L then pitch. I would throw another day in perhaps and step it up to a gallon. Ideally I would make a similar beer at about half the gravity and dump the 1095ish beer onto the cake.
