I have a natural gas pipe that sticks out on my patio with a valve on it. This is obvious what it is for.... it is for a gas powered bbq. Is there a way I can use this with a turkey fryer/burner to brew with outside?

Like many others, SWMBO doesn't like the smell of the house after a brew day. Also, my glass top stove sucks.

What do I need to make this work? I have a keg (soon to be keggle) but don't know what kind of hardware I would need to convert a propane burner to gas.

Thanks

I brew outside with natural gas as well.

I bought a 130000 btu burner/stand for natural gas, mfg by Bayou Broiler. This will vigorously boil 8 gal in 30 min for me.

It connects to the same hookup that my Weber n.g. grill attaches to - unfortunately they are different sized quick connects so I have to spend and extra 15 sec unscrewing/screwing the fitting when I switch. I just haven't gotten around to making them the same size.

Highly recommended. Great for crawfish boils in the springtime too.

Yes, it's Bayou BOILER, not broiler as I posted above.

Its kinda pricey at $249, but I had to have the natural gas outside - unlimited, no tanks to switch out, etc. Available online.

I've had it about 2 years, no problems of any kind. Made of very heavy duty steel stand, steel windscreens on 3 sides, nice control valve handle, and the burner is burly.

I originally thought about building my own but realized it would end up costing about the same.
