I will toast a pint to the brave souls who have paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can be safe and free. Freedom isn't free and God bless those who fought the good fight!
Thank you!

Armistice Day. Remembrance Day this Sunday in the UK. I'm glad it hasn't just been me thinking about this for thread. The privileges i cherish were hard fought. The sacrifices they gave were unquestionable.

I can't thank in any other way than to try and make sure the people I encounter who ask "What's it about?" understand.

I cannot imagine the sacrifice, terror, hardship, pain, pride, honour, terror, hope or any of the other things these people went through.

Respect.

To all veterans living and past, those fallen and those who stand.

I salute you for a job well done.

May good always trimuph over evil. May men of honor always rise to the occasion. May forces that threaten us always be kept at bay. May the blood that's spilt always be far away.

Always vigilant, always brave, always honor; God, Country, Self.

To the forces of the United States, and of Great Brittan allied in strength, allied in purpose.

I'd like to tip my drink to our vets, your vets, and vets everywhere. Whether they were friend or foe, these are people that offered life and limb to protect what they believe in.

I know - controvercial statement, but we all have to remember that those who lived and served as veterans followed military protocols instead of being f'ing terrorist bastards who take out innocents.
