I've had idle plans to build an arcade cabinet eventually. I have not-so idle plans to build a keezer. Let's just combine the two... UNYHA/NAH collaboration

Couldn't you just put the arcade machine right next to your kegerator and save a few grand?

I actually built a MAME (multiple arcade machine emulator) years back. If you're handy, you can build this pretty cheaply. Arcade controls are under $100, I used an old PC I had, and spent about $30 on an industrial monitor. The cost of wood was low, so it probably ran me about $200 to build it. Add a small fridge to the bottom for $100 and you can build this for $300-$500 depending on your options.

Oh and by the way... the design of this thing sucks. Where is the cup holder? It's really tough to take a slug between levels if you have no where to set down the beer!

Lol... I looked for another thread assuming I wasnt the first to see it.

And I wouldn't pay retail. Cabinets aren't too hard to make, a MAME emulation is easy.
