I have an Apfelwein & a Brown Ale basically at the point of bottl'n. (in 2ndaries)

The Brown Ale is ready-to-go into bottles now and I planned to do it today.

My bottl'n bucket doubles as a 5g primary. Its got the standard spigot on the bottom.

I decided to brew my Irish Ale before I bottled my brown ale. This is the Oops. I put the Irish ale in my bottln' bucket.

Duh.... How the f--k am I gonna bottle the brown ale now?

I've got to buy me another bottling bucket or borrow one. I could try using a racking cane and bottle filler... Hmm... anything else...

What would you do? Have you done anything this bone-headed before?

I like to hear it.

Thanks!!

Sure, I've done bone-headed stuff like that, I think everyone has!
I would just wait, I guess. No harm in waiting, the beer can only get better anyway. You could buy another carboy/bucket if you want to, there's always a need for more fermenters at my house.

Get yoursef a big straw and start in on that brown ale -- who needs bottles or carbonation!
