I put the aquarium heater inside the bucket, good idea?

Sat it at 75F yesterday and it's fermenting.

I know the temp is a bit high, but it's a 7-10 day wine and the taste doesn't matter much.

Update: It's fermenting violently now so I guess it's working

Update 2: No replies, I guess it's ok then.

i am planning on doing the heater in a tub of water as mentioned rather than putting the heater directly into the fermenter.

+1 on the heater in a tub of water with your fermenter sitting in that rather than having the heater in direct contact with your wine.
