My co2 regulator is currently hooked up to a 5/16 line, which is the size of the nipple on the regulator. I am about to keg some home brew and need i realized the gas connection for my corny keg is 1/4". Do I need to buy a whole new regulator in order to connect to my corny? Suggestions? Solutions?

Your fitting on the keg connector is a JIC fitting, get one with a 5/16 barb. Or get a 1/4" fitting for your regulator. Any local hose store could get you fixed up. or if you want to half ass it just clamp the hell outta the 1/4" side.

Just get new gas line, use 1/4" line. Just heat up the side that needs to go on the 5/16" barb in boiling water to soften it up. It will stretch on just fine.

....and my troll count is at 3. How many are there?

One part of me wants to become a repeat offender just to figure out how many there are!!

you gotta realize man, the OP hasn't logged in since 2012....and your post sounded like you expected a response......

You get sucked in again? 😁 Although you are trying to help.

almost, but the picture helped......i guess if the post was phrased for a non members google search to pick up on, it wouldn't necessarily be bad...my first post here was in the necro thread "happiness is homemalting" that i found googling malting. seemed like i had something to add so made an account. but i just added to it what i've learned so far....then didn't post again here for a year.....
