I don't mind admitting it: my dad's a fan of the stuff, and I enjoy one now and then, too.

But the last 6-pack that I bought for him was (for better or for worse) missing all of the taste that makes Rolling Rock "famous." :confused: In fact, it really just tasted like...well, yellow fizzy water.

I'm guessing that it was hot-off-the-press, or something. Crazy as it sounds, the slightly-skunky, super-grainy version is better. :eek:
 
According to the bottle, it was "Extra Pale Ale," but that is exactly the same as the ones we'd been getting before. As far as I know, it is the only Rolling Rock available up here in Siberia. Usually it is slightly skunky and quite "grainy," if I am using the term right.

Anyway, the beer that we had after that was a good, home-brewed "OtterWeizen" - much better!
