Alright Everybody...Put on your Open Minds!!:drunk:
This is gonna get wild....

Leftover recipe build and yes I know it is gonna taste horrible, but I just got to
you know? So after my porter this weekend I will be left with this:

1.5# American 2-row
.25oz Kent Goldings for 60min

(ready for the kicker?)
RedStar Pasteur Champagne Yeast - 1 packet

This will be a 1 Gallon batch steeped for an hour in a Muslin bag then 60 min boil for the hops.
all done stovetop of course (no need to waste propane)

Well what do you think? At least I'm gonna get a true idea of the goldings, but is there anything else this might prove or teach? Is it worth it as a fun expirement or am I just completely nuts?

:tank:

It'll be a light beer with champagne-like bubbles, I think? Probably pretty dry. I'm thinking seltzer water with a bit more taste? Give it a go!
