I love it too. I got frustrated enough with Mr. Malty one day trying to do a stepped starter that I started writing something very similar, but was very happy to find it already exists.

Shame it's in Flash, though. That's my only gripe.

That's one of the best things.

I have 2 packs of yeast with different dates, a month apart. I can figure out the viability using the "use date" option then unclick the "use date" box, punch in the number of cells that are alive with 100% viability of those cells.

Then I can simply use the stepped starter option and figure out how big a starter I need for 2 steps or more.

Shame it's in Flash, though. That's my only gripe.
