Hi, I’m another newbie, I live in Salt Lake and love real ale. So brewing is a necessity. :) I’ve recently started brewing hard cider in part due to my English heritage but also because my wife is allergic to gluten (Celiac) and it is just perfect for her and a long drink we can enjoy together.

After my first few batches came out so well, I am hooked!

I’m currently collecting hard cider recipes, tips, tricks and well, everything Hard Cider. So any input would be much appreciated.

I have just started a blog Why Make Hard Cider? | Make Hard Cider Easy intended to publish learnings, recipes and useful info. :tank:

Cheers! I just moved to SLC to be a ski bum!

Have you checked out The Beer Nut on state street?
They got us started real nice and have been very helpful in both helping us figure out how to make BIG beers!

I'd love to try your cider! We're strictly making beer here.. :drunk:

Welcome, i'm from Utah as well, well a Cali transplant actually. I only brew beers but have been interested in trying out a hard cider.
