Well not febreeze but I did use something similar, my sense of smell it´s quite sensitive and I can still pick up some scent in the background, my coworkers are telling me that´s fine but I don´t trust those pricks :p Worst case scenario if I can still pick it up I´ll put a lot of cologne on and tell the guy I´m half french.

I am not sure if it would work but maybe baking soda. You put it in the fridge to get rid of odors maybe rubbing some on the shoes would help

Thank you for the tip Varmintman but I can´t smell it anymore I don´t know if because the febreeze or because I just got used to smell it :p. Reminds me a friend of mine that lived just by the port, his house smelled like fish, when he was told this his answer was: "what are you guys talking about? I can´t smell a thing" :D. Got to go now big boss it´s coming catch you guys later.
Thanks for the tips everyone see you later.

First question, have you removed the dog crap from your shoe completely? Not even French cologne will get you out of this one if your treads are still full of dog mud.

Well that was fast! yup bottlebomber I gave those shoes a good clean nothing on them, I already had my meeting with the big boss, now my other two bosses are speaking with him, nothing I can smell :D and the meeting went extremely well I was only with him for 30 minutes or so. Apparently I´m doing a good job, the guy noted that on my bosses vacations I was in charge of sales, special offers (I work in a hotel), personal, billing, well basicly all the office work, occupancy went up big time during my couple of months in charge, winter is our slow season, last year december and january occupancy was 52% we were expecting a decrease this year to end up in the upper 40s... we are now at 64% with higher prices than last year and will probably finish the month at 67% or so... plus I lowered labor cost 5% :D. Nobody it´s getting a raise this year... but me :D, I got a 5% more (wich is not great but OK for me) and I´m going to travel to Seville on the first weekend of March to give a lecture for motivation and sales to the staff of other of his hotels. No promotion yet he told me he wanted to keep the current upper managment but he offered me a promotion if I´m willing to relocate: I have till March meeting in Seville to think about it.
I was scared as hell with all these staff reductions going on... but it went well... wasn´t expecting it. I´m going to take my girl out for dinner to celebrate (and discuss if we want to move)

thank you creamy! I have to keep an straigth face, nobody around here haves to find out! but I can´t erase the smile from my face.

Congrats!!! Always makes you feel good when others can actually see, thorugh numbers, the great job you are doing.

Now, is it a bad idea to brew when you have the flu? If I just sneeze and cough the other way or maybe wear a mask?

Human pathogens can't live in beer. Brew away if you feel up to it.

Yeah, but now trying to figure out if I feel up to it. Just the energy required to lift the kettle and knowing it will take at least 4 hours. Might just take another nap instead. I hardly ever get sick but when I do it hits me like a ton of bricks. I feel like crap and even a couple pints of my strong honey amber hasn't helped. That along with a entire pot of coffee thinking it would give me some energy. This sucks. :(

The flu does suck - all the more since there is little you can really do about it. Just remember that alcohol and caffeine will dehydrate so you need to also get lots of water as well.

Dang Bobbi I hope you get feeling better soon. I know go get that possum under your house and cook him up:rockin:

Mmmm just thinking about small tasty critters is making me hungry.

I would switch over from beer to your favorite fruit juice for a couple days.

I drank 3 20-ounce gatorades today also. About to open a 4th. I might float away from all the liquids I have consumed. Just got done cleaning some bottles. That's it for me. I'm really pissed that I got sick. Sweating like a pig now, do pigs sweat? I really wish I could catch that damn possum. Walked out on the porch one morning and saw him drinking out of my dog's water bowl. The thing has to weigh close to 25 pounds. I got the trap set out with sliced apples as bait. Need to try a new bait, it's not working. Or just catch him out and about again and make sure I got my rifle handy and ready to go. He's been pissing off my dog too, dog creeps out onto the porch when I let him out early in the mornings, sniffing, takes off running, slams into the side of the house. Barking, growling, probably the dog is the reason the trap isn't working. Thinks it's his job to keep the thing at bay, under the house. Maybe today I will move the trap and add some fresh apple slices.

Okay, here is my trap set, possum walks in, starts eating the apples as he steps on the lever, boom got him. Do I not have it set properly, what's going on, why can't I catch this bastard?

You could be like bottlebomber and just shoot the dogs. ;)

Hey man! Actually that was a pivotal event in my life. It helped me to think about the full responsibility of carrying a firearm, and honestly I don't want it. I truly feel now that having a gun is not going to help you in 99% of situations, and that it greatly increases the chance of a lethal situation. I decided that I really would not want to kill someone under any circumstances, even to the extent that it would mean my own life. It's not something that I could live with. I carry pepper spray now when I go out in the woods, that would have taken care of that situation in a much less destructive manner. Just my opinions and views, which have thankfully been adjusted.

Mind you I am not wise to the wiley ways of the possum since we do not have them here but I know when trapping any small animal you need to put the trap on a path that they use and then block the sides so they have no choice but to go in instead of around.

Or you could find the hole it is using to get under your house and face it into the hole so when he comes out he will walk right into the trap.

You have a right to be happy, and celebrate! The only thing better than having a satisfying career that you excel at is having your family on order. I also love my job. I don't like to brag but I am buttering these guys biscuits, and I likely saved the business last year.

Selling any guns? :p

Seriously though, that's what it takes sometimes. I know of at least one cop who retired immediately after shooting someone, even though it was life or death and they were completely justified.

You know what? I really respect you for that attitude. I also believe the use of deadly force is something that really needs to be thought out before some one gets a gun for defense. I carry when I am in the woods and have never had to fire the gun yet and I hope I never do. I do not carry in town or around people because I am just not sure I could pull the trigger.

Any way as I sit here I salute you:rockin:

Okay, on the right is the hole he is coming out of, he'd have to take a right to get into the trap(his direction), which is the path he takes to get to the water dish. I will move the trap around and barricade it so he has no choice to walk into it. We might be having possum stew by tomorrow morning. Anyone up for a bowl?

Don't tease me. I am way to many miles to get to the dinner table in time:D

Okay, now he has only one direction to go, straight into the trap. Well, unless he pushes over my crappy barricades, I could make them stronger. Going to weigh him after I get em'. I bet 25-30 pounds. Fat bastard.

If nothing else and the meat doesn't taste good, I'll cook him up into dog food. My pup will be so happy, get to eat his arch enemy. Well, my day was less than productive, but if I do catch this bastard, it'll be worth it.

Question to you hunters and eaters of various critters. Should BobbiLynn get him, would soaking him in milk overnight as one might liver or kidneys be the way to go? I would think that it could wash out some of the nastiness built up in his flesh for eating garbage and carrion...

Well I tell you I make a point of not eating anything I do not like or have to try and disguise the flavor. I do not eat moose nor ducks or geese for that reason. Bear on the other hand eat carrion and a bear roast is a thing to behold:D

Other than in some sort of extreme situation, I don't see myself ever trying possum, raccoon, or especially, rat. Now shooting them is a different story, especially the raccoons which we have a lot of around here.

I would try raccoon in New Orleans. I'm told people have been making it there successfully for years and years.

Worse comes to worse I hate it...

But my milk idea wasnt so much to mask a flavor but to clean it.

And I will eat the bejoobus out of a nice duck or goose!!
