Killer video pp, thanks! I'll be checking out soon, my late nights are done during the week as I have to be up at 4:30 for work, so I try to be in bed by 9. But that's midnight for east coasters, so maybe I'm still in the game! And I'm not sure what page Dan is on now. According to my phone it is 4:30 in the afternoon for him. By the time I wake up tomorrow he'll still be in yesterday, so this could work! When I opened this thread it opened to the post Dan made about hitting the dog. Glad you weren't seriously hurt man.

Sharon, thanks!

BB, I envy your work hours actually. Early to bed early to rise make a man happy healthy and wise. There's creedance to that!

Cheers!

Advice, help?

I have one of those Weber "football" style grills. I prefer charcoal but for now this is a backup. Had the thing around 6-7 years. It used to get very hot, to hot almost. Now the gas flow has slowed way down, poor flow. Hmm, not going there...

I think it must be the round dohicky thing, maybe a regulator that is causing the problem. I troubleshot it a bit. Gas goes into the dohicky but not sure it is regulating properly. Does this sound familiar to anybody?

It sounds like you tripped the over pressure dohicky

Dan,

What LG said. Turn it all off. Disconnect tank. Reconnect tank. Let her rip.

(This is the process for my char griller at least)

Happens every time I turn the knob on before the propane tank.

I'm officially beat been up since 14:00 yesterday. Worked alone last night, which for some random reason ended up being busy, came home. Ran some errands with the baby, then put her down and finished getting the two oldest's rooms together. They come back tonight from spending the summer with their mom in Oklahoma. The kids don't know that we redid their rooms while they were there. When we bought this house we had to move in within about three days to avoid paying an extra month's rent in our condo. The precious owners painted everything white before moving out so we've been living in bland since October. Now three rooms are down with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the living room to go.

This kid really needs to live closer to the ocean.

Panorama. Never used this function of the iPhone before. Not too easy.

Can't get a better shot with my phone. Wish I would have taken before pics. I don't know what these people did, but I've never seen so many nail holes (and even a few hammer head holes) in one house in my life.
We're letting the kids choose artwork. (Perhaps a scary thought. Though I'm sure cheaper than if SWMBO or I chose)

LG, Snaps, thanks for the help

I can read the threads but not having luck sending replies. Maybe this one will get through

Be back on the grid tomorrow night

Did that fix you up?

So. Tomorrow my whole team, and another one for that matter, has a meeting with our bosses bosses boss... Yeah. I don't know if that's good or bad. So, I thought I'd drink a little.

What is the worst that could happen? (Maybe not the best question, but bosses talking to bosses is not always a bad thing).

If I try to read and then reply, I will never get to the replying part.

I took a vacation to Pennsylvania. Got punched by a homeless lady when I tried to help her with her cart over a curb. Got drunk on blueberry moonshine at my cousin's house after the family reunion and no one noticed. Both my sisters who attended the reunion and "after party" said they would have never trusted me to drive the ATV over the side of the little mountain, with both of them on the back, had they known. I guess I wasn't that drunk, got into an argument with my ******* uncle and everyone said it was impressive the way I put him in his place. There was also a carnival in town the same time as my family reunion and old cars, old tractors. First time I've seen Farmall Cubs as a diesel, and saw 2, also a low-boy, never seen one of those in person before. My son said, "Mom, you know way too much about tractors." As I identified every one going by. But highlight was my dad bragging on me to relatives. I knew just about every antique car and tractor going by in the parade. My dad was asking me questions about the vehicles going by and I thought he knew everything about old cars and tractors!

That they are firing all of us. Not likely, but possible.

What's more likely is our incentive pay is going away. That's 40% of my income, so not good. That, and we are moving to the corporate headquarters immediately. I can live with it in any case. I live cheap so I don't have to stress about money. Going to corporate would be annoying, but I can do it.

If we all get fired, I'm inviting everybody back to my place on the spot for a farewell party. Good thing I restocked my liquor cabinet.

Sounds like you had a mostly good time. Did it broaden your horizons a bit?

Back to talking about myself before reading other comments, I got to taste what a $23.00 beer was like. BIG beer, 28% ABV, is that even beer still?

You should have saved getting punched by a homeless woman for last, because the post was down hill from there. ;) Glad you've been having a good time in your trip.

Oh, yeah, that lady. She started screaming bloody murder when I touched her cart, flailing her arms and probably accidentally hit me. Tip: Do not touch a homeless crazy lady's cart. The next morning, I ran into her again, we saw each other, both froze, then I turned the other way and ran, ducked into a store.

You do lead an interesting life don't you?

My cell phone stopped working, and I can't find my precision tools so I can take it apart. I think I will take the opportunity to contemplate if I really need a cell phone.

Well, I still have my job. I am moving to corporate headquarters in mid October. I am losing my incentive pay, but I'm going to get a raise that should partially compensate for that.

So, to sum up the last week:
Got a ticket for expired tabs, yes my fault
Had to get new tires
Took my Mother to get a mammogram
Got new tabs
Broke my cell phone
Got told when my commute is doubling, schedule changing in a way I don't like, and I lose my incentive pay.
Got my annual storm water bill

All in all. It's been a "It could have been worse" week. It's just irritating that I have to deal with all this garbage all at once.

Cell phone are over-rated, lead.

Is interesting the word to use for creating chaos every where I go? On the train, I kept telling my son, oh that lady needs help with her bags, go help her... Or go see if that guy over there is okay, he doesn't look so good(he was in line to get on the train and appeared to be struggling just to move around). I tend to butt in and sometimes that gets me in trouble. I tried to calm down an irate man who was going around shoving the NY times in people's faces. Succeeded, I guess, he moved on, and someone turned to me and said out loud, "thanks for taking one for the team".

Here's a picture of my son, me, and my sister Angela in PA. I'm in the middle, I chopped my hair off 4 days before the trip. I like it short, I feel so light-headed. :)
