I leaked garden hose water into my wort

A full day with two batches back to back & my first batch could already be ruined! Damn cheapass immersion chiller! Just as my daughter came outside to "help", I was about to yell, when I suddenly decided to rdwhahb. 30 minutes later as my daughter drew pictures of cats on my recipe log book, she turns to me & declares that she loves me...what immersion chiller? Hopefully my electrical tape fix lasts through my 2nd batch...or I might get drunk...

I've done this many times and have yet to have any problems.

my first batch did the same thing, how was i suppose to know you needed to tighten the hose clamps before using?
turned out fine, really good beer.
