I am new to brewing but have been making wine for a couple years and have never had this happen before.
I have two containers (both 1 gallon glass jugs) of wine, both were cut from the same batch of mush same yeast (red star Cote des Blancs) same mixture.
I have had them working for 3 days now, and 1 jug is working away bubbling and frothing but the other nothing at all.

Any ideals?

nope split the pack between them
I think I figured it out, I poured the no reacting jug into another jar and found a piece of tablet in it, so I ask my 6 yr old and he tells me yeah daddy I put one of your wine pills in for you, it was a campden tablet so i'm pretty sure it killed my yeast lol

Campden will not kill wine yeast, just stun it. Stir it until it gets going again. Miht take a few days, but at least the child protected it for you, make sure you thank him.
