Ah, I miss this thread! Good games this weekend. God the Beavers are hard to cheer on sometimes... like when they almost fall against PSU, or when they let Hawaii "make it an interesting game" when the Beavs decided they didn't need to play anymore...

Sparty's D was way overrated. They benefited from a 2013 schedule that included only one team with any outside speed...and that team had poor passing...and that team racked up a ton of yards against Sparty's "stop the run at all cost" defense. Oregon exposed their secondary and embarrassed them.

However, State's offense is anemic, and I'd be worried about my defensive effort if I were Oregon.

I could be wrong, but MSU had problems all year last year moving the ball and I need to see a bigger sample size to conclude the crap offense they had last year has improved that much. I am absolutely not sold on Conner Cook being a legit QB yet.

Yeah, and HORRIBLE job on the ref's part. WSU sacked Mariota in the end zone. Last time I checked, that was a safety... apparently that means 3rd and 23 on the 1 yard line. (WSU would have had the lead, and the ball with 3 mins left in the half. Oh and WSU's last drive resulted in an obvious PI... Phil Knight pays a lot of money to make sure the F-, I mean Ducks, win. They should have lost that game. Flippin chumps.
