I have watched Alton Brown on occasion. My point isn't so much who the better cook is, but why waste time expending so much energy hating someone rather than change a channel.

I don't watch TV much, but my daughter loves Rachel Ray. I don't get her at all- she's pretty dumb, and not entertaining or a great cook. Now, Giada- oh, yeah. I'd do her. I mean, if I was gay and she'd have me.

When are those photos from? High school? What little of the show I've seen indicates that either they are all very photoshopped or very old. She's pretty fat now.

I don't know. I only saw the show like for 5 minutes, and I don't check out too many women, so I can't say if she's average or not. I gotta say, though, that most "average" American women are pretty fat. 20 years ago, that wasn't true, but it is now. 20 years ago, I was average, but now I'm a good 20-30 pounds lighter than most other women my height. (And I didn't lose any weight!)

It doesn't have anything to do with her ability to cook or host a show- I was talking about pure "hotability". She came across as fairly unintelligent with no real cooking skills. I've never seen Ellen, and haven't seen Oprah in at least 15 years, so you got me there.

Well, I watch the show to ogle her, but her cooking seems pretty decent to me. If I wanted to watch a real chef making stuff that I would even dream of cooking, I have no shortage of options there. She cooks real food that most everyone can cook in short time. I've never seen her talk show and just don't care to (unless she wears something very low cut and short of see-through...

I can understand how people can think she is annoying though. I just dont' think there is much basis for putting down the cooking aspect. She is not a trained chef, and does not claim to be one. She just cooks regular food and makes some shortcuts that the average person might at home.

Giada cooks a bit more upscale. Her brests are bigger too. I'm a bit juvenile about that, especially for a 40 yo. Oh well. I might be a bit tipsy from my beer too.

Rachel Ray is one of the most annoying people in the universe that is a constant reminder to me of why i do not watch television... she puts friggen chicken stock, and extra virgin olive oil on everything and calls it EVOO..... but then everytime she says evoo she explains what it is, what is the point of abbreviating it if you are gonna explain it every time, her voice is annoying, she moves her hands waaay to much, and on and on, im submitting my first poll cause someone used the term evoo here on HBT and it sent me off the deep end!!!!!

The lady who started that Rachael Ray Sucks thing is from my hometown, and looks like the type of person who hasn't ever accomplished anything with her life, so she has to try to tear down someone who has been successful.

That being said, Rachael Ray is pretty annoying, but I watch 30 minute meals a once or twice a week. I don't like to spend a lot of time cooking and most of her recipes are tasty and pretty simple. They're just never spicy enough.

LOL, I like Rachael Ray, I do all of the cooking at home, and I find her very intelligent and logical. She seems to really anger some folks though. Some of her stuff cna be repetative, but her smokin' curves make up for it.
