I had a good belgium IPA at delerium cafe in Brussels, and I can not (for some reason) remember what the name of it was. It was on tap/ the page for it was a green logo (I know that sounds dumb) and it was bout 10%. Oh yea and that was this summer about the end of July.

Anyway, has anyone made a good Belgium IPA. I think I would prefer one on the clean tasting / dry side.

Thanks,

David

Man, I love the tap room at Delirium...

No idea how it'll pan out, but I brewed up this Belgian IPA last night. Was definitely tasty going into the fermenter:

Tripel IPA (partial mash)
Batch size: 3 gal
OG: 1.076
ABV (est): 7.4%
SRM: 5
IBU: 62

Ingredients:
2.5 lbs Belgian two-row
2.5 lbs Belgian pils
1 lb clear Belgian candi sugar
1 lb pilsener DME
1 oz Northern Brewer (60 min)
.5 oz Sterling (20 min)
.5 oz Sterling (10 min)
.5 oz Sterling (5 min)
.5 oz Sterling (1 min)
1 oz Sterling (dry hop)
Chimay yeast (harvested)
1 tsp Irish moss

The beer you had was Houblon Chouffe by Achouffe. We had that at the Delirium cafe a few weeks ago. It's execellent!
