Ok I hope I don't got problems. I went to brew this weekend and was using American ale smack pack wyeast. Well it didn't well so I dropped a muntons packet I had for back up. I decided to open the wyeast and seen that it was because that stupid bubble didn't pop.. In frustration I poorer the wyeast in to and cut the bubble and dropped it in... Am I going to have to much yeast?

So a lil update, I'm on 3 weeks today. Last satuday I checked the gravity and it was at 1.01.. I decided to give it another week in the secondary. My only concern is priming. Here's my thoughts "more yeast eating = more carbonation .. = possible explosions of beer = a sad brewer

It will be fine check it again in a week. Then prime and bottle. As long as you don't over prime it will be fine.

Until they run out of sugar. Sugar = carbonation. Yeast are the means. The only possible risk would be having so much yeast that they produce CO2 so fast that it can't dissolve at the same rate. I highly doubt that would be the case after 3 weeks in primary and 1 in secondary.
