So I was going to brew a Belgian Pumpkin Dubbel but my local homebrew store did not have the yeast strain I wanted in stock (1214) so I completely changed my mind and went with Safale US-05
I cooked 4 1/2 lbs of pumpkin in the oven with brown sugar for one hour.
Partial Mash--One hour at 154-157 degrees

.75 lbs Special B
.5 Caramunich III
4 1/2 lbs Pumpkin
Boil- 60 minutes
60 min-- 3.3 lbs Golden Light LME and 1 oz Cascade
20 min-- 3.3 lbs Golden Light LME and 1 oz Cascade
5 min-- 16 oz Maple Syrup and 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
Flameout- 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
OG: 1.076
I'm thinking maybe its an Imperial Pumpkin Porter? Dessert Pumpkin Porter?
