Hi there,
So I've got a bucket of Canadian blonde going with 3 days left before bottling. Thought I'd do a gravity test, smell and taste test also tonight. The hydrometer sank straight to the bottom. It tastes and smells really good. Is the hydrometer sinking to the bottom normal? It's my first brew. Cheers y'alls

You'll need a deeper vessel so it doesn't touch the bottom.

Unless the hydrometer is completely submerged. That should never happen with beer...
