Hung Over......

I had my annual Halloween party last night, I hired a bartender so I could enjoy the party instead of being chained to the bar room... 25 gallons of homebrew gone, burned through 300 dollars in liquor, and I was fondled by the chick across the street because my wife insisted she check out the goods. There was several rousing games of beer pong, then several games of vodka pong using 3 olive grape vodka and sprite, nobody fell in the fire pit, some ******* were flashed, I'm drinking again to stave off the pukes, now if I can rummage in the fridge for some leftover wings and poppers I might make it through today with only a mild headache and a sour stomach...

I honestly feel like an ass, I will be sure to throw up an open invite for next year, sorta forgot my homebrew compatriots like you AZ, the party is always the Saturday before Halloween, costume required, 5 rooms and 3 couches available for bedding down for the long haulers or druks.

I have moved on to making Micheladas with the Key limes from my tree and my last 10 gallons of APA, ice, a splash of Tapatio and V8 and salt/pepper rimmer. I can hardly see the keys on this little netboolk anymore, time to puruse netflix and maybe do a bit of sleeping.

Sounds like a pretty good party. Although a good fondle is still only the preseason IMO.

How many people did you have? That's a TON of beer and booze!

Around 50, possibly up to 70 people I think, the party went from 7pm until 4am. Some of the booze went into the wrong cabinet during the party and I thought is was consumed, but a pretty good dent was put in the supply, there were trays of shots going through the party, and when you walked in the door you were required to take a shot as well. Nothing says welcome to the party quite like an "Adiós Mother F*cker" shot!

I can't believe I missed this post yesterday. I too was pretty damn hung. I really try to be laid back on my birthdays, especially since we throw a knock-down, drag-out party on Devil's Night (or in this year's case, a pre-Devil's Night party this Friday), but having 15 gallons of kegged beer sitting in the fridge next to the pool table, I didn't stand a chance...
