Okay, so what is going on with Hudson Valley? WHY are people trading beers like Flora and ANTEAD for milk sugar sour IPAs?

What in the actual ****, I need this explained. Seriously.
Treehouse upped production, values dropped, shitlords latched on to something new to inflate the values on.

I saw someone offering a St. Lam on Facebook.

I'm struggling more with why people care that today's beer is a collab with Root+Branch... A brand that existed in name only until this week (I think?) when their beers started popping up.

So we can relate this to any cryptocurrency that's not Bitcoin?

Also, when I mentioned Flora before, the person was willing to offer COST + Flora originally. My god.

Thanks for making sense of this nonsense.

Jason makes amazing beer, and deserves all the hype (and money) coming his way.... with that being said; what people are will to trade for HV cans is beyond me. The bottles they have been putting out are the real bangerz. Valley Beer was my favorite AWA since Brute.

They make some very good beer. And they have been doing so since prior to the Beacon operation. Previously, they were brewing on a very small system in New Paltz. Oldladyfingers & cavedave were drinking there, not a ton of other folks.

And the St. Lam was just one of their friends messing around. Non-release days are a great time to check them out, especially for your first visit.

Agreed on Valley Beer. Hylozoa was amazing as well.

Been a pleasure tasting these guys develop their skills over the years.

Why the hell are people over trading for (Insert Name of Newish Brewery that began canning IPAs)?!?! This is ridiculous! They're good but not the greatest thing ever. People are crazy

So I guess, after having browsed this thread, I need to hit up the Hudson Valley?

My wife and I go to Vermont every fall in October, and I was thinking about hitting Suarez on the way back to Pittsburgh this year. From what I gather, Suarez, Sloop, Equilibrium and Hudson Valley Brewery are the main bangers?

Yes. Friday would probably be ideal because they'd all be open. I don't love Sloop as much as Suarez, but I appreciate it and they have a lot of local cheeses, jams, meats, etc for sale. I think they are building a new facility too, if my Instagram memory serves me correctly.

Also Industrial Arts is a nice stop; it's 40-ish min south of HVB. Metric, Tools of the Trade, and Wrench are three of my favorite readily-available beers these days.

Annnndddd it just so happens that Friday would be the day we'd likely be there. Thanks!

I just want to thank you downstaters from properly naming this thread and not polluting the Upstate thread with Hudson Valley breweries. Why you may ask?

i created the thread... i'm from south jersey and don't know much about the region besides a lot of amazing beer is coming from here now
