Howdy from Texas

Ok, most of don't really say "howdy," unless it's alcohol induced. But I'm glad to be here, done a few "extract" kits, and about to start my first partial mash. With the help of you guys, and some partial mash kits I've found from online vendors, I expect to be quite the home brewer in a much shorter amount of time than I expected.

I've already read through several topics here, and I'm happy to have found such a wealth of knowledgeable, helpful individuals like yourselves.
